Is financing available to build homes on Lake Arrowhead?
Yes. We work with a local lender that has a one time close construction to perm loan. This loan allows you to buy the lot, pay for the construction, and not have to make a payment during the construction phase as an interest reserve account makes the payments during construction. Once the home is complete and Certificate of Occupancy issued, the loan will automatically convert into the final, long term loan.
Do we have to work with only the three plans that are made available?
No you don't have to. We make three plans available as selecting a plan can be a difficult and confusing process. If you prefer a different plan, we can give you many more options, or you can bring your own plan. Any additional costs regarding buying the plan from the engineering company will be accounted for in the final estimate.
How long does it take to build a custom home?
It takes four to six months depending on the size of the home, weather, and the amount of custom work requested.
Can we buy an existing home at Lake Arrowhead instead of building a home?
Of course you may. We will put you in touch with our local real estate agent that knows Lake Arrowhead very well. He will find additional properties for you.
